OMP Plus

OMP+... the extension to the flagship Owner Manager Program

At the conclusion of the Owner Manager Program participants feel invigorated, motivated, re-engaged and inspired within their business. They have clarity and direction for the future and have made incredible connections with their peers and facilitators.

OMP+ was created at the request of Owner Manager Program (OMP) alumni who were looking to continue the OMP journey with ongoing connection, feedback, and development. The program is designed around quarterly panel and content sessions exclusively for OMP alumni.

Whether you’ve just finished the program, or you participated many years ago, all OMP alumni are eligible for OMP+, kicking off May 2022.

This is exactly what I’m looking for! Tell me more.

OMP+ is an annual program that includes quarterly one-day/night blocks. This including panel and content sessions and online access to online tools, templates, and resources.

When finishing the Owner Manager Program, alumni regularly ask for more opportunities to gather with their colleagues and facilitators to stay on track. OMP+ was developed as a structured way to advance the Owner Manager Program learnings and continue the clarity and focus achieved.

Through a flexible annual subscription, you participate in quarterly (or less) panel-style in-person catch ups to review how your personal and business progress, revise and adapt if necessary and be challenged by your peers and facilitators. It’s like an ongoing peer advisory board without any vested interests.

This is a unique opportunity to maintain the strategies developed in OMP and achieve your business and personal goals. Additionally, you’ll have access to regular webinars, resources, tools and templates to build upon the learnings from the Owner Manager Program.

Haven’t completed the Owner Manager Program?

OMP Plus

OMP+ is for alumni who want…

  • A quarterly review to assess how you’re tracking.
  • Reflect on whether you’ve been spending too much time in the business.
  • An opportunity to revise your goals and make changes, where necessary.
  • Continue to refine your strategy, tactics, processes and procedures.
  • Ongoing learning and development, including facilitator and guest speakers.
  • Connect with a broader network of like-minded businesses, facilitators and presenters.
  • Recharge the batteries and jump back in with the enthusiasm you felt with you finished OMP.

OMP+ Program Structure

The blocks are a structured day/ night to challenge you on you, your business, and your role in the business. They include a combination of facilitated checkin and review, OMP style panel sessions, expert content, guest speakers, dinner and networking.

Each day will include a content session and guest speaker to challenge your thinking on key aspects of business or topical issues currently faced in the business world. Similar to OMP, the sessions will be structured around both learning and application to ensure regular change and improvement.

OMP participants often comment on the clarity and direction that comes from the panel sessions. They are like your own personal advisory board to help you not only review the last quarter, make plans moving forward, or gain feedback on key issues or opportunities that you’re working on. Similar to OMP, each group of 5 owners will include an external panellist to provide feedback and focus.

The days are structured to include both evening dinner and accommodation to allow plenty of opportunity for connection with other alumni business owners, facilitators, or panelists.

Confidentiality is very important on the Owner Manager Exchange Program. All participants sign a mutual confidentiality agreement as part of participation on the program. In addition how much you share with other participants, facilitators or advisers on the program is at your discretion.

If there looks to be a conflict of interest between two companies that may be competitive, we will discuss options to reduce conflicts with those affected.

If you are unable to attend an OMP+ session, please inform the Executive Director and you can defer to a future date if you provide us with 30 days notice.

Australian Owner Manager reserves the right to cancel programs due to unforeseen circumstances, and will provide participants with as much notice as possible in such circumstances. If a program is cancelled, 100% of the program fee paid will be refunded. Australian Owner Manager is not responsible for any expenses that may have been incurred in attending or related to the attendance of a program.

If a program is unable to start due to COVID-19, we will give you the option of a full refund or transfer to an alternative program. If COVID-19 disrupts a program mid term, we will adjust the dates of the program with the approval of the group to allow the program to continue face to face. If an individual participant is unwell and unable to participate due to COVID we will work with that individual around refund and transfer options. We WILL NOT revert to an online model.

As part of the program we often take group photos or videos for publicity, publications, or display. If you are included in these photos or videos you agree to their use as outlined above and that you do not have an interest in the copyright to the photograph(s) or payment for your appearance in them. We will confer with you prior to using any image of you.

You agree to release us from all claims arising in connection with the Program to the extent that our liability in respect of such claims would exceed this amount. In addition you assume all responsibility and liability for damage you cause to any Australian Owner Manager or Third Party’s property while participating in the Owner Manager Exchange Program.
The success of the Owner Manager Exchange Program is in part based on an appropriate relationship between all of the participants in the program. As such if you fail to treat staff or other program participants with tolerance and respect, or you engage in behaviour that is unlawful, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, bullying, harassing, invades another’s privacy or causes any person to fear for their personal safety, your participation in the program may be reviewed and after such review you may be removed from the program.
The information is collected for the primary purpose of registering your attendance and delivering the Owner Manager Exchange Program offered by Australian Owner Manager. Other purposes of collection include the creation or modification of a record on the participant database, attending to administrative matters, corresponding with you, informing you of future activities or events and de-identified statistical analyses.
