“I am almost certain it would never have happened… if I had not attended the OMP6 program”

Attend the OMP

Craig Chandler (OMP6) and his business partner Bob Johnson recently sold their business TEAM Irrigation to the Ruralco Holdings; one of Australia’s largest agribusinesses, irrigation suppliers and water brokers.

“I am almost certain it would never have happened or been taken to this point if I had not attended the Owner Manager Program,” Craig told Australian Owner Manager.

“The Program gave me the confidence to back myself during the negotiation process… and has given us the best possible outcome.”

Craig is thrilled that the sale has secured a future for all the staff at TEAM Irrigation – some have been with the company more than 14 years – and provided financial security for him and his business partner.
Bob plans to retire this year, however, Craig will stay on as General Manager for the future growth of the business

“What’s interesting is that some of the greatest benefits from undertaking the Owner Manager Program are often the changes in vision, confidence, or attitude that come to the business owner. It’s also the fact the program delivers not only for those businesses that want to grow or enter new markets, but also those that need to transition in some way, such as succession, acquisition or exit.” said Rob Douglas, Program Director.
