SSS Strawberries Launch Gina’s Table

SSS Strawberries launch Gina's table

We’re incredibly excited to see OMP’19 Alumni Gina Dang, forging a more sustainable future for her family-owned business, SSS Strawberries, with the launch of Gina’s Table.

Gina’s Table, a sister brand of SSS Strawberries, recently opened a $15m freeze-drying facility in Bundaberg to help combat food wastage and make their fresh produce business more sustainable. The facility allows the fresh produce business to create a viable by-product from what used to be considered “waste”.

Gina and her family opened the facility with an exciting launch event, attended by local dignitaries, media, family members and the community, along with renowned pâtissier Adriano Zumbo. Zumbo and other distinguished chefs, created delicious treats for those in attendance, showcasing the versatility of Gina’s Table freeze-dried and frozen fruit products.

This impressive investment is a giant leap forward in sustainable agriculture, ensuring that less-than-perfect fruits are now transformed into delicious, nutritious snacks, rather than waste.

Gina and her family hope that by pioneering this technology, they are paving the way for Bundaberg farmers and beyond to maximize their harvests and expand their market potential.

“It’s about community, collaboration, and making the most of every harvest.”
